They are effectively Joe's delegates, and by and large he controls them as they're bound to him. If he says I'm not running and I support x/y ticket, that's pretty much what it will be. He's earned that right through the primaries. If he had a bad stroke tomorrow, that's what would happen. Up to Joe

Biden chose Harris. People voted for Biden and his backup. A brokered convention doesn't disqualify Harris. But democracy is what democracy does. Let the People decide. Especially the young & disaffected—a cohort of millions who want a reason, and could change this from a nailbiter to a landslide.
