I'm lucky that the reason this is all getting sorted now is because a manager got hired who knows this and is making changes, and it's now coming out in the wash I was the most productive member of my team. But I had like a year and a half of sweating because I was told I wasn't working hard enough.

When I got hired here they assured me they didn't use ticket counts as a metric because they knew how useless it was to reassure me, but then we got bought by another company and that went out the window.

I feel like I was tricked into thinking I was bad at my job when actually I was doing more work and more difficult work than the rest of my team. I am so mad about it but now I have to try to as professionally as possible to bring it up at check ins and reviews.

At work I spent a good year and a half being told I was underperforming because of my ticket count. I now have the confirmation it's because my teammates were taking all the easy five minute tickets and leaving the one hour slog tickets for me. I'd like some acknowledgment from management but lol

Finished the first scenario of Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic by building a steel mill and I'm unreasonably proud of it. There were way more steps that went into this than just plopping the mill down - cargo transport, worker transport. This game is extremely my bag.

I once had a D&D friend try running Burning Wheel. He complained that he didn't know how to balance the combat encounters. It's not that kind of game. Your characters have to fail to improve. But we couldn't get him out of D&D mode
