He and his team says it is wrong. I think they're wrong. But all I am saying is if they are right and I am wrong, they have a very easy path ahead of them to prove it to everyone, and if, on the flipside, that is not the case, then they need to call time on this farce and swap him for Harris asap

But it's not an easy path, right? The whole problem is that there's going to be a constant reservoir of journalists and pundits implying that the old man is senile no matter how many interviews and speeches he does.

And to be very clear here: it would be great if they are right, and do back-to-back interviews suddenly with a re-energized campaign showing all of America that Uncle Joe is fine on his feet and running with the full force and energy this campaign needs. I would very much love them to do that.

I don’t know how they could prove it to everyone. I’m struggling to think of what form that would take. A good scripted speech or two isn’t going to move that needle. They appear to be living in their own echo chamber.
