I keep seeing people today say "these labeler implosions just prove that Bluesky needs a T&S team". Folks: Bluesky has a T&S team. @aaron.bsky.team runs it. They've gotten incredibly fast at handling issues. I've seen sub-5-minute responses on some of my reports.
thanks for this thread rahaeli. I am a relatively new user and subscribed to Aegis and Taurus. And there are a tonne of accounts labelled Pedophiles, Transphobes, Racists. And I was dismayed that these people are still here. Especially the first one due to legality.
The Bluesky T&S team are the only ones who can remove accounts from the network entirely. They also handle labeling for the official Bluesky moderation service, @moderation.bsky.app -- that's the labeler you can't unsubscribe from.
I assure you we don't even prioritize reports from you! (though report schema prioritization is on my to do list - ie bad things get surfaced faster). Need to pull better stats, but nearly all reports get reviewed and actioned in under 24 hours.
Settings> Moderation> ENABLE ONE-CLICK MUTE (30sec undo)
Like some of the extensions avail for the bad old place.
Take some of the load off the T&S team.
