Hey motherfuckers, just found out my kid had post-viral myocarditis from COVID in 2022! Discovered because of constant fatigue and dizziness when standing. They now use a cane. COVID is surging again so do the damn things! I know they suck but not as much as giving someone else a heart condition.

In case anyone needs a reminder on the things to do to prevent COVID: -wear a mask in public, even outdoors (preferably a KN95, N95, or other respirator) -improve ventilation + air quality -stay home + rest as much as possible when sick -test for COVID, but beware false negatives -general hygiene

Asserting control over what you can control (note I said what, not who) is self-care. Does it fix the big problem? Probably not, but the big problem is likely something you cannot control anyway. Catastrophizing is the maladaptive version of asserting control, because it’s wheel spinning. 2/3

So... watching the archived press conference later. They are VERY AVOIDING that the 2 TON THING IS STILL UP THERE.. No big deal, but the mini burning spinning motor didn't light the second time, (APU?), so the upper stage main nav motor can't light to de-orbit it. Up there like usual space junk.
