ok, I think? the latest anti-mask ban graphic is done. If I still feel this way later on, then I'll post it. It didn't look bad, it just looked a little too much like the 1st one & I want each piece to be unique (while still having some bits in common so they work well together)

sleep was meh. 0 stars IDK why but my body is doing the swelling pain thing more often than I care for. It used to be in the legs & compression socks was keeping that at bay but now the swelling x pain collab (I'm tired lol) has expanded & I need a full-body compression suit

on the 19th I have to get a tooth extracted, which obviously ya can't keep your mask on for. now factor in the surge in COVID cases in NYC & yeah... looks like I'll be bringing extra masks + covid shields for people I interact with I'll be very pissed if I get COVID from this

sometimes my mouth speaks without first consulting my brain example: I was working on a protest graphic and couldn't quite find the right color theme for the blocks of text, which was when my mouth exclaimed with full conviction: "that tweaks my nozzle!" *blinks* what?!😆💜

Towards the end of the day that's when it starts to make itself known. These FEELINGS about the election. Hypothetical arguments with Biden lol which doesn't even make me feel better. So I'm thinking of ways I can constructively channel the energy. Maybe protest art?

Y'all still masking? With 4+ years of long COVID, I've been sick more times the past 4 years than I have from 2014-2019 (probably longer since I rarely got sick pre-2020). The times I've been sick since 2020, it's been people that stopped masking that I unfortunately can't avoid.

I mask to keep my germs to myself, and reduce the risk of taking germs home to my family. Masking can feel isolating but in high risk settings, it’s part of healthcare provision.

Anyone who thinks the #YallMasking trend is virtue signaling needs to understand that we’re often the lone masker in spaces and feel extremely alone. Seeing so many ppl all over the world is a genuine surprise and the first glimmer of hope that many of us have felt in a long time
