Hot take: I'm truly not interested in hand wringing over how much people will miss enjoying the books of men who have turned out to be abusers. I'm far more concerned about the missing art that women haven't been able to create/publish because they crossed paths with such men.

Media outlets are only as liberal as the conservatives who own them. And lets just say the quiet part out loud. If something were to happen to Biden during a second term, a woman of color will become president and that both scares and infuriates a huge swath of people in this country.

Google “Massachusetts crisis pregnancy” and this link pops up. It’s part of a statewide campaign, including public signage (highway billboards!), urging people to avoid crisis pregnancy/anti-abortion centers. The Commonwealth is not fucking around with this.

A relative used to quote FB memes to me to prove vaccines cause autism. When I linked her to peer reviewed medical articles and the articles about Wakefield's proven medical fraud she insisted those were opinion pieces not fact. When I countered that she was quoting a FB meme she'd hang up on me.

I read somewhere that this was reason they limited in the interaction between Bucky and Steve in the later movies. Too many fans were more interested in the Bucky/Steve relationship than Steve/Peggy. Because it was always Bucky/Steve

The thing that cracks me up most about Florida Man being #convicted of 34 counts. He never had to pay Stormy off or have his buddy do a Catch and Kill of stories about him. His supporters wouldn't have cared. Quite the opposite in fact, they have heaped praise on him.

Yeah, some are done like that and not at all appetizing. And what I don't get about the southern ones, they are dumped on a table covered with newspaper. Ink on food, how appealing. Maybe it adds to the flavor.

As a New Englander I'll defend seafood boils. Originally regional to here and the Southern Gulf coast. It's more steaming the food than actually boiling it. Some do boil with seasoning. We used to do steamers (clams) lobster, mussels, and corn on the cob. So so good.
