I wouldnt do this often, but that *is* what the SCJs are *supposed* to do. Call balls and strikes. Send bad laws back to Congress for revision. Unfortunately, they seem to just flip between activist judging and straight constitutional review on a whim that seems to benefit conservatives, always.

i would love if the media would at least start referring to judges across the board like "Justice Roberts (R)" journalism's irrational belief that our judicial system is "not political" needs to die in a fire
