100%. The Internet was great because it was people writing for people. SEO worsened it when we shifted towards people writing for robots. AI is awful enough when it's robots writing for people, but AI-empowered SEO trash is robots writing for robots, thus making the Internet unfriendly to humans.

Mainly because they're too short and the workdays are too long. Ideally, we'd have 4-hour workdays 4 days a week, so we had time for ourselves every day and didn't need to try and cram a week's worth of household upkeep and relaxation all into two days.

Any further thoughts on the best places to have a newsletter? I use Tinyletter but it's shutting down in February, and I've been loath to jump to Substack for precisely the reasons you're writing about.
