They're the ones that found it actually. They were nice enough to not impound it when it was found abandoned on a bike path, and even picked me up to get it after I told them about my 3 month old. Other than that no real work for them because no damages and not related to another crime.

started work again today after 9 weeks of paternity leave, and I found a folder in my inbox with literally 4.29 BILLION unread emails. it took 5 hours before I could even open the desktop client of outlook while it was cleaning things up to get to the point it could display that number.

I've skeeted this before but in 1969 *armed* students took over Cornell's student center on *parents* weekend. Not only was it settled amicably but the students won. You can't divorce what happened at Columbia from the reports about billionaires influence

In clinical trials of new treatments, when the treatment is clearly and obviously immediately effective it is sometimes considered unethical to continue to withhold it from the control group. Pretty sure we passed that milestone about a decade ago with basic income experiments.

Since Texas banned abortions with no exceptions for rape or incest, 26,313 Texans have become pregnant from rape. That’s roughly 1,644 rapes resulting in forced pregnancy a month. Family court then traps victims with their rapists.
