I agree the mainstream press’ role in shaping candidate perception is definitely broken. But it’s pretty shocking that people who have watched SOTU, voted in primaries, and generally paid attention are this shocked by a bad debate. And are calling for radical action (with no clear plan). Media ftw

It wasn’t a “bad debate”. The man couldn’t follow a thought for a complete sentence, couldn’t rebut anything Trump said, was entirely incapable of articulating a stance on any salient issue to the campaign. He looked and sounded like he couldn’t be trusted to take care of himself
