The Great Barrier Reef has experienced five mass bleaching events in the last decade – the most recent in March this year. It was the most severe and widespread mass bleaching event ever recorded there.
At Lizard Island, 97% of coral is dead.

I mostly agree with "Take only memories leave only footprints" but was more than a little tempted for taking two little leaves from the dreamy forests around Schloss Schönbrunn yesterday.🥹

Comfort me, followers. Tell me "Sapi, you're totally a normal human being. NHM Wien is abnormal."
There's nothing wrong about taking 700 photos there in 5 hours, right?

And... Has anyone noticed the figures at the famous dinosaurs hall of NHM Wien? They don't look much comfortable doing their job.🤣🤣🤣

Have you ever thought you were born in the wrong country? I didn't.Till I went inside that building today.💔
My eyes are filling even when writing this. This place can be the sanctuary of the hypothetical religion which I'd gladly believe in- in which curiosity is the only way to worship.
NHM, Wien.

In Turkey there are three magpies per square meter. In Wien none. Instead everywhere there are blackbirds.
I prefer blackbirds.😄

"Excuse-me-do-you-sell-sacher-cakes." This was enough for her to decide that she could communicate with me better with her (very bad) Turkish.🧟🤣

15 of 10 people in Wien are Turkish. Sometimes it's funny mostly it's annoying.
Me: -Excuse me, do you sell Sacher cakes? (in English)
She: -Hayır hayır (in Turkish)
Me: -Türk müsünüz? (Are you Turkish?)
She: -Hayır biraz anlıyor ("Just a little" -with a very bad accent-)
Is my English that bad?😳

This is the 1st time I visited a museum filled by the early "subject hunter-gatherer" archaeologists & seeing stuff haphazardly put together (Archaic men &Bronze Age idols facing each other in Cyprus section was the most disturbing), the little info on the (only in German) labels felt a bit odd...

It is is a fascinating place and I spent some good five hours there today. With bursting into tears and talking to items from time to time. But something is eating me- there is something odd about this place. What's the difference between a museum and a storage house?
