Yeah. One of my clearest memories from the 2012 election cycle was how much the Romney campaign acted like it wasn't a question he was going to win. Any campaigning was for the form of it, and because that's how you funnel money to your friends.

yeah. we had the unmitigated gall to elect a black man, then he was actually good and *popular*, and then, we elected him AGAIN. they lost it after the first one and went fully round the twist after the second.
