The Oregon GOP is currently undergoing a factional battle in which the person who wrote that tweet is on the side that is *less* consiracy-addled, *more* reality-based, and *more* institutionalist. How about them apples?

May they all only ever see doctors who played them on TV Then got hospital jobs because they didn’t make enough money acting because the unions have been busted and all collective bargaining ruled in violation of the Eleventeenth Amendment

Both factions in the OR GOP are getting behind this guy for Secretary of State (the office that runs our elections). The OR GOP has brought in a raft of Mike Lindell's "election integrity experts" to train folks on how to identify all of the non-existent fraud in our system. bsky.app/profile/bolt...

I realize this may be fruitless, but that post seems to stem from a specific, internally coherent, shared in-group definition of the word "communism" that functions as a shibboleth. Ofc there's been lots of discourse on this but I feel that tacit, never specified meaning is in fact "federalism."
