I've taught a Comics & Sequential Arts Workshop at Winburn Middle School for the last three years. As the Workshop has grown, I can no longer fund all of this myself.
I'm raising $4,000 to keep the class going & possibly expand it. Spread the word & thank you for the support!

I'm a small part of this book. I'm not really an awards guy but this is still pretty cool. It went from a whisper to real over the course of my adulthood, from something I only saw in degraded scans online to an actual book sitting on my shelf. Life is good. Black is beautiful. We've been here.

Weird, the site still pulls up for me. Add a to the site name and see if it comes up. It may be overrun with web traffic.

He truly was. If America weren't the way it was (and still is), ANC would've had a much longer print run.
He was also a fantastic journalist/reporter.

That's odd. Try this one: anc75.com
Would not be surprised if the site is being bogged with traffic at this time.

I'm in a better place now creatively, but the ghosts of the direct market still linger around me and I do my best to brush them off and leave it all behind me.
Go where you're wanted, not tolerated.
Thank you for letting me tell my story, Chris.
Peace.

The 13 years trying to fight and make my way in the direct market game was grueling. If you get a copy of All Negro Comics 75th Anniversary and read my essay in the book, you'll understand why I feel the way I feel.

Never thought I would see a day like this.
It's surreal to be part of something Eisner nominated, especially after uncommitting myself to direct-market comics and most of their publishers and making the full-time switch to the book market in 2019.

All-Negro Comics 75th Anniversary Edition has been nominated for an Eisner Award. Special thanks to Chris Robinson for letting me participate in this beautiful, historical, and necessary project.

I kept digging into that AI company behind Sports Illustrated's fake writers. Turns out it's created tons more fake writers across the web, sometimes for surprisingly huge media clients. And then things get even wilder...
