Just came in, took off my clothes and crumpled. My poor head is pulsating with pain. It had to be done but it was too much. Still, a very good afternoon with Mom. We had a nice time.

I tried on so many dresses and I hate how I looked in everything but they looked a little better at home. Then took Mom and B out for dinner (on a porch, breezy and nice). Then I came home, got punched in the gut by "stop faking wellness in public" and vomited everything up.

I think there is something terrifying and retrograde about tossing all but the most recent past of culture into the memory hole. Having no ties with the past is just begging us to rebuild the wheel again and again.

No Evil tonight. The pets and, kind of, their owner is too freaked out by the smoke and explosions. Kittenbinder isn't doing well at all so we're just hiding in bed (or under) and turning on the white noise app. I hate this holiday.

Took Fletchy and Bes out for an early final walk and Bes didn't pee or anything. I hate this holiday. But we're all home and settled. Wawa and I are having a few cheeky little lemon drop shots, eating leftovers, snuggling pets and watching tv.
