And signposting, because they know new people are constantly tuning in. Here’s what’s happening, here’s who we have where, here’s what we have access to, here’s the limitations we’re working with, here’s the current bottom line.
I'm not saying this in a belittling way towards the students nor to pop culture everything, but it really sounds like we should sit all current reporters down and make them listen to the Orson Wells War of the Worlds just so that they remember/know what actual basic reporting is.
