I just got an email from my local greyhound rescue that Caliente, the dog track at Tijuana, is closing. If you're in southern California and thought about a retired racer this might be a great time to reach out to an adoption group. Retired track dogs make awesome pets.

Central Market can be pricey, IMO, even exceeding Whole Foods. H-E-B usually have a barbecue restaurant in-store. In either store, the tortillas are made at the bakery and put out fresh all day.

I haven’t had Mission in who knows how long. With H-E-B/Central Market both in the Metroplex, I have access to freshly-made in-store buttery tortillas. I will need to check out the TortillaLand ones at Wal-Mart.

@specter177.bsky.social I would guess if the KABOOMTOWN! Airshow is still happening, even with the Cavanaugh Flight Museum closed, that aircraft are either flying in from other airports or just flying over Addison to or from those airports.
