NEW! I’m typically a fan of simplicity: Vote against Trump because he wants to end American democracy. Period. But I admit, he and his allies are making the unspoken half of the appeal (…so they can steal all the money) pretty hard to leave implicit.

I would put Missouri on the list. Lucas Kunce is an attractive candidate (veteran, square jaw, humble origin story) making his second run. Josh Hawley is a nerdy insurrectionist coward whose wife is trying to outlaw mifepristone.

I’m pretty sure the men who voted for the Dobbs majority will not experience any discomfort from affirming its worst consequences. But I wonder what Justice Barrett thinks about, having experienced labor and delivery herself. It can be terrifying. Was it ever that way for her?
