Back in 2014, when I was still practicing criminal law, I was laying on the floor of a courtroom during this attack. Shortly thereafter, the Forsyth County Tea Party was raffling off a bump stock on the county fairgrounds. Repulsive. www.nbcnews.com/news/crime-c...
So appalled by this ruling. Six on the SC just overrode a Congressional definition. Shouldn't this have been a definition used by all justices when deciding the case?
When SCOTUS makes decisions to endanger us all, I wonder if it EVER crosses their minds that they could one day be confronted by some nut they enabled to own a deadly killing machine, either alone or in a crowd? PS: Sotomayor needs to stop making her dissents "respectful." She should be screaming.
