I think Dem voters would get over their hesitations with Harris the minute they saw the contrast in energy and enthusiasm she’d display at campaign rallies, etc. Her events as the VP candidate were surprisingly electric. And, her prosecuting Trump on the debate stage would be awesome.

The “people in power” that kept Bernie from being the candidate also happily kept the Sanders campaign alive and viable in 2016. Those “people in power” want Trump and his tax cuts to win, and Bernie was a useful tool in that effort. Do not likewise be a useful tool.

If the Dems come out Monday and say Kamala is replacing Biden I’d be all about it, but as 2016 showed us, the country is even more misogynistic than it is racist, and Kamala gets dinged on both fronts, and that’s before we get to her corporatist, police state record. Just no easy answers rn.
