I’d like to read a piece that expound your reasoning on that front, as I think everything is too uncertain right now. I do think she’s the most likely candidate, though, and that in no way diminishes my fervent wish for Biden to dropout.

i have already written this but the short of it is that pushing Biden out and sidelining his VP is a very efficient way of tearing the Democratic Party apart at the seams.

A vote for President Biden is a vote for President Harris. People who understand that and aren’t racist and/or misogynist are not calling for a younger white male candidate to step in so close to the election. Those who are, are telling us who they really are.

I doubt that Whitmer or Newsom would even allow their names to be placed in nomination, unless Harris had already bowed out. The 2028 frontrunners might run this year if the nomination is truly open, but they won't mutiny.
