I personally use Clip Studio Paint--yeah they have that Update Pass shit, but at least you can buy the software, you don't HAVE to rent the software and make payments to it to be able to use it at all!

clip studio's update pass is basically early access to shit that will be added in the next version, which you can then buy outright, you don't have to buy any updates if you don't wanna I'm currently on a subscription model cus it works for both pc and ipad, but i still have my 1.0 perpetual license
