Yes I draw them by hand, yes I refuse to use the brushes that make it easier for me to do it even when it's done digitally, in CSP. And if you're the type to do it like I do, you need to take breaks, stretch your wrists, hands and fingers, maybe go get a bite to eat and something to drink

And yeah there's that SM64 mod, but it's just Only Up but SM64. I don't think there's anything to fight but how high it is and how fucky some of the geometry you have to traverse. That isn't to say that it isn't impressive! Just thinking of how to make it more enjoyable and less slop

Krita's also pretty good! I think they recently added some functionality for animations as well. They also use brush sets that are used for another open source program called MyPaint (I haven't touched that one in years... good times of being a broke art kid lol)

I personally use Clip Studio Paint--yeah they have that Update Pass shit, but at least you can buy the software, you don't HAVE to rent the software and make payments to it to be able to use it at all!
