Twice in the past month I have been asked to do an interview for the New York Times. Citing their hard right turn, I declined both. Everything I have seen from that paper in the past month has only bolstered my confidence in those decisions.

Once each year I rent one for half a day to get a load of quality compost soil for my garden beds. Other than that I drive my hybrid compact car, scooter, and bicycle. As others have said, therapy is cheaper than a big truck.

1/ Reminder that violent crime has gone down since the 1960s, and wage theft and civil asset forfeiture have gone up since the 1980s. Cops stole more property than burglars stole in the last five years. More money is lost to wage theft than lost to all violent crimes for the last five years.
