American democracy is now incredibly vulnerable to the slightest of shocks. “If RBG had just lived 2 months longer.” “If Joe Biden were just 2 years younger.” Even if Trump were to evaporate tomorrow there’s a generation’s worth of repair work to be done, at least.

Afraid it is. E.g. Big Qanon influencers were at that glitzy Mar a Lago fundraiser in the spring. A Q group attacked the Maricopa county (Az) board of election supervisors in February. Q groups are assembling a mob to go after Pinellas county FL election officials (one of AFPI’s target counties)

💯In 2011, I was at a banquet of business leaders at Blenheim Palace. Kofi Annan was the after dinner speaker (I was only there because I was working for him) and the topic was trust: he had an urgent warning that its collapse would mean chaos. The audience yawned through the entire presentation.
