Cabbage is an essential part of a #SaintPatricksDay tradition. Guadalupe is a farm worker who harvested red and green cabbage in Arvin CA. Harvesting cabbage requires a worker to bend and stand up for 8 hours a day and is hard on the back. #WeFeedYou

I've met many people who have done this, and it is a job which simply chews bodies up and spits them out. These are people with an amazing work ethic and should be compensated accordingly.

Every time I buy cabbage I can't believe how cheap it is considering how heavy and slippery it must be to harvest. I can't tip the farm workers every time I buy a head of it but I can donate to UFW!
