A Hot Rod Deluxe is too loud for most places these days tbh. I switched to two 50w solid state amps. Plenty loud enough on stage, and they don't seem to give the sound guy a coronary.

I've played with bands gigging a Twin, but yeah, I wouldn't want to carry one. I put a handle either side of my Hot Rod Deluxe and even that's more than enough weight to take up a flight of stairs and across a busy dancefloor.

Yeah, I was never an AC30 fan in the past, but I've been using a Vox style amp sim occasionally, and now I want an AC30 too. Tweed Bassman is the dream though. And a roadie, cos fuck lugging a 4x10 about!

Bargain! I saw one of the reissues on Gumtree once for about three hundred quid, but it was just boxes of parts. Was very tempted, but that would be a lot of soldering.
