I love the idea of electric cars, but the terrible situation with charging kills it. It doesn’t take but 10 minutes to fill up and get in and out of a gas station.

You can charge using a standard 120 volt outlet, and if it's at night, and you're not going out, 7 to 10 hours of charging will recover most, if not all, of a pretty standard commute.

I spend about 4 hours per year *less* time waiting for my EV to charge than I spent getting gasoline for my ICE car.

There are a few EVs that exceed the range of gas cars. Upgrade to a 220/240V and U can charge from 0 to full in 8 hrs. You never have 2 go 2 a gas station. Long trips - plan your stop (ICE cars too!) & eat lunch while charging. Fast charge 0 to full in 45 min.
