Yes, they are genuinely angry/horrified/sad, but they do understand the problem. None of these people are new to the internet or social media, they don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt. Wanting to be the exception, doesn’t excuse or justify the vitriol and abuse being directed at Aaron.

Old enough to remember pitchers going to the plate & then not trying to get a hit. DH has been a staple for 50years!

@benlindbergh.bsky.social found that pitchers got worse at hitting every decade. They stopped learning to hit, and teams stopped developing that skill. The game is far superior now!
