thing is though. the "souls doesnt need easy mode" guys also tend to get pissed as fuck when I use summons or magic or anything except no armor str glass cannon builds., so I generally enjoy pissing them off anyhow.

Nah. for me at least the fun of souls (and souls likes) games is the exploration,. the interesting worldbuilding, and the interesting weapon movesets granted this is why I also use magic and summons and the git gud types would insist I'm playing souls wrong
