I just finished calling my senators and representative. It took me maybe 15 minutes, including looking up their phone numbers. Take the time to give yours a call. If you hate phone calls, make a script for yourself first and then just read it.

Even if you have electeds who are asinine, you should at least make their lives a little more uncomfortable by voicing your opinion to them—frequently. Do it for those of us in DC who have no one to call on the Hill.

The nice thing about organizing is that it is about more than just elections. E.g. mutual aid in all its forms, and campaigns to contact your electeds to bully, uh, persuade them. I point this out not to downplay elections; it's just that some people are looking for things to do besides voting.

If you subscribe to a newsletter but later change your mind, just email the author and ask for a refund. Most of us will give you one. Really tired of people canceling by filing "fraud" disputes with their banks over a $6 charge. I get charged $15 for each dispute, whether I win or lose.

I just saw on Twitter that Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation are cutting funding nationally for abortion funds. If you can spare it, set up a recurring donation to your local abortion fund or the National Network of Abortion Funds at abortionfunds.org

I'm not saying there's a conscious media conspiracy to reelect Trump, but that the news industry has incentives that favor exciting new things. Biden coasting to the nomination is boring. The current storyline is more dramatic and is generating a tremendous amount of content
