My p-doc was like, "It produces a dissociative state. With your history, you probably don't need any more of that." So ... maybe not best for cptsd-related depression? Or maybe my doc is wrong.

It’s not the drug, though. There’s a gold standard study using ketamine during anesthesia so nobody in the study knew what they got, and it’s no better than placebo. So it’s not the drug, it's the perception of the altered state. I wanted it to work, too.

And for regular depression. Antidepressants worked for me, but it wasn't a fun ride.
