A college pal had a VW Beetle with a similar setup. Touch the gearshift, clutch releases, shift. It was exactly like any other Beetle, except slower.

The father of my high school nemesis had one. Deliberation seemed necessary, no speed shifts, for sure. The cars in my house were an early Suburban, and a Fiat 850 that was the unholy result of an unfortunate one nighter between a Ferrari Daytona and a VW Beetle. The Citroen was extraterrestrial.

I have a mutual with Jason, who is apparently every bit as nice irl as you might think. Mr Thissss! is nails—on-chalkboard irritating. Matt just seems like a really chill dude who knows a lot.

Owned and loved an NA 10 yrs ago. I used to think I’d want one of these when I age out of bikes. Now, I’m pretty sure it’ll be a Kei pickup.
