When I was a young lad, I worked on a piece of navigational equipment that could bias out sunlight and shoot stars during the day.

I remember looking up into the sky as a young child to see the moon visible during the day, and realizing the stars were still there too Our senses shape our representation of the natural information of our world - the blue of the sky is in our minds
