Striking that the NYT appears totally obsessed with Biden's withdrawing from the race (which I have no doubt will happen) while not talking much about the Supreme Court's paving the way to fascism. Seems to me primarily a coping mechanism: you fret about the things you know/may have control over

The thing is I don't want these people to have control over anything even if I share their concerns. "We can Claudine Gay the president" is not a good precedent to set even if I think he should end the campaign.

I get it. There’s nothing that can be done about the Supreme Court. They’re vile activist judges out to screw us all. There IS something that can be done about Biden. Better to focus on what you can change than what you can’t.
