Unfortunately you can’t escape it anywhere. This last year has been horrible for brown people specifically and PoCs as a whole. The Canadian communities on Reddit for example are outright using 4chan terminology when referring to minorities.

I hope Biden can do it. He doesn’t seem to be dropping out so we are stuck with him and he is a million times better than Trump. I’ll be telling my family to vote for him. But I also think Biden is the candidate least likely to win against Trump.

They gave Biden a one point bump for being incumbent but didn’t give Harris any points for being from the same administration. Their model without factoring in intangibles has it at dead even. My concern is that there is no salvaging Bidens campaign after that debate and this media blitz.

They’re on a campaign to get Biden out not Trump in. They’re pushing Kamala Harris hard right now. NYTs second front page story is about the “K-Hive” showing support for Harris. They’re showing polling about Newsom, Whitmer, Pritzker and more beating Trump constantly.

That’s not really true. Lots of “vote blue no matter who” types are calling for him to drop out. The NYT, CNN, the pod save America guys, every Biden orbiter under the sun, pure liberals, are calling for it. I expect the calls to reduce now though since he’s made it clear he won’t.

Well-written article. For doctors at least, the sorts of specialists entering the field aren’t the kinds of people that are in most demand. Pediatric subspecialists for example are in demand in lots of places but few people go into those roles because of how poor the pay is.

It’s not just Americans. We are seeing the same thing in France(far right coalition), Germany(AfD), Canada(Conservatives/PPC/TakeBackCanada) and more. Near majorities in all of those nations voting for evil. I think people underestimated how many truly awful people there are around us.

I think this is in response to the other supreme court case not the immunity one. Ohio banned abortion w/o exceptions for emergencies and the justice dept sued. The Supreme Court returned a verdict saying that EMTALA would supersede that Ohio law and that abortions for emergencies can go ahead.

Let’s see how the debate affects polling. If it looks like we are headed towards defeat under Biden, they should absolutely take a risk on the convention and look for someone else. Biden has the ammo and facts on his side, if the democrats can find a coherent candidate to deliver that, they’ll win.

Are you? Do you not understand what a brokered convention is? There is a very clear mechanism for choosing alternatives if the frontrunner bows out and isn’t chosen at the convention. And many people can choose to enter that convention. Harris doesn’t automatically get the nomination.
