IMO the biggest problem with Biden's age is the fact that Trump wants to be a dictator on day one and it doesn't look like there's anything or anyone in our institutions that are willing or able to stop him.

To be honest I think this is the (unintentional) culmination of the Chicago School of Economics paradigm. In their pursuit of giving econ the prestige of science they dropped the “social” part of it and drove into finance. Now we have money as free speech, corporations as ppl and feudalism knocking

Able, yes. Willing, no. If everyone who wasn't all in on fascism united to oppose Trump, he would be toast. But instead we have things like the New York Times trying desperately to trash Biden, and they're not the only major media organization doing it.
