The facts are *only* in dispute.
1. No official records exist about whether profs are liberal or conservative. That's a good thing--in a free society, we don't require such records. Any surveys are small, strictly voluntary, often poor in quality. 1/3 š§µ

A president supporting court packing for the explicit purpose of reigning in presidential power, including his own, after a Supreme Court made a wildly un-American, precedent-breaking decision to expand it, would be making the best case for a president to support court-packing.

Big hat tip to @jbouie.bsky.social for treating uncertainties as uncertain, with both downside and upside potential, rather than what many pundits are doing: imagine a positive scenario and act as if things will smoothly go that way if only people try it.

Most of the other parties will do some light xenophobia, and keep kicking left. The AfD meanwhile will retain both its apparent Teflon status with average voters and the covert (and not-so-covert) advance accommodation from the elites, at least where its topics and language are concerned. (2/2)
