Looks like a good complement to this recent QJE on representation in children's books over time. Reinforces how content can counteract developmental biases toward in-group preference and naturalization of existing group-based differences.

Simply observing biased behavior can produce biases. Highlights an important role for social transmission of prejudice and also its durability--by taking cues from others we may remain unaware of where our views about other groups come from.

Neat designs too.

Learning about how several of Philadelphia's earliest taverns (~1680s) were actually located in caves** along the Delaware riverbank. **possibly small clay alcoves they dug themselves, copying an older technique they learned from the Lenape tribe. Still figuring out details.

Under the current Biden climate policies, if we work hard on implementing them, we can get to an 80% clean electricity system by the end of the decade. If those policies go away, there is zero chance we will get there. Let’s work hard to get to 80% and also add more climate policy to get to 100%.

Maybe dumb Q I had while biking, but has anyone explored covariate adjustment for systematic measurement error like response biases? Not error in covariates, but say age correlates w/ acquiescence, so control for age when correlating 2 A/D measures? Google scholar isn't helpful—maybe wrong terms.

Stumbled across this from YouGov. People evaluated 28 out of 56 total policy proposals without knowing they were Trump or Biden proposals.

Embedded graphics worth the exploration. On the whole, only 1 Biden proposal had net negative support vs. 19 for Trump.
