War crimes are war crimes, and attacking civilians is a war crime. Hamas is a terrorist organization, not a defensive force. And yet and still: We should ask ourselves why no one is presenting a precondition that the Palestinians in Gaza be free to defend themselves from a foreign invader.

Doctors office calls and schedules me for today, urges me to go to urgent care. Urgent care ran labs, suggested hypothyroidism as a possible cause, did an EKGā€¦ Everything came back normal.

I called the advice line to see if this was even something to be concerned about and they said ā€œyeah donā€™t freak out but see your doctor ASAP. Unlessā€¦are you in good athletic shape?ā€ lol no, Iā€™m a slow runner and Iā€™m not an athlete! Iā€™ve never been in shape!

But I did see that unless it comes with symptoms, the slow pulse is probs fine. Then Wednesday at work, while sitting at a podium, I noticed my fingers get all tingly. I glanced at my watch and heart rate was 48bpm and heading downward.

It starts with an alert from my Fitbit that my pulse was too slow. Like 42bpm I search whatā€™s wrong with that and it comes back with either Iā€™m an athlete or Iā€™m about to die. Lol Iā€™m not an athlete! See that message Iā€™ve heard my whole life? Itā€™s right there! Iā€™m not sporty!

He canā€™t answer them from regular people; he canā€™t answer them on a debate stage, and he canā€™t answer them under oath ā€” at least if he doesnā€™t want a perjury charge. Im at the laundromat, waiting in the shade outside. Itā€™s currently 96Ā°F but not bad in the shade. Anyway, the guy in charge here just came up and gave me a cold water he grabbed while restocking the vending machine! Sweet!

So far they feel pretty good. Theyā€™re pretty secure on there without feeling uncomfortable. Iā€™ve never had a manicure in this style, so I canā€™t speak to that difference, though. Iā€™d buy them again, but would probably look for extra short length (or maybe extra-extra short)
