I'm not your lawyer, but I am *a* lawyer, and I would advise my client to note this letter is not from a lawyer or a law firm and I would write them an email telling them to pound sand. I think this may be the same trademark troll that was hassling the "Fuck the LAPD" guy. Can someone @ him?

so yeah, between the /clerk/ sending the demand and the fact that almost all real companies ask you to take down any infringing material and don't charge a "settlement fee," this reeks of bullshit to me (i am not your lawyer, this is not legal advice, etc)

... an interesting fact is that it cannot be a trademarked symbol. When Baker created the flag he intentionally didn’t trademark the flags design, explaining he had created the flag for everyone and wanted it to remain free for public use.
