Thanks! It’s probably my fave region of Aotearoa New Zealand and gets greatly overlooked by tourists on the whole, but that means there are plenty of quiet spots. It’s lovely and peaceful

One of my fave animals. Sometimes I really want to ditch everything to run a bar on Rottnest Island so I can hang with these fellas outside work and go on the beautiful sand beaches and swim in the stunning sea 🥰

I wish I could too! Pōhutukawa trees are known as the “Kiwi Christmas tree” as they blossom in December with a red flower. Rarer are yellow flowers. There’s one place, Oneroa/Long Bay, where they have red, yellow, peach and apricot blossoms because of cross pollination. I love going there 🥰
