In 2016 Social Development Minister Tolley said there was no evidence of systemic abuse in care. I wrote about this back then (below).
This week, the Mental Health Minister did not read the report and the PM thinks that questions about that are 'unfair'. <SIGH>

Something big we haven’t fully processed or reflected on is the massive amount of time and effort people around NZ have contributed towards long term curriculum changes, science system changes and local govt reforms, amongst others. All rejected by current govt. The deep engagement meant nothing.

Final tally of seats in Wales. Labour have gained 9 seats as the party swept to power with a landslide.
Plaid Cymru now have four seats, up from two, and the Lib Dems are back on the map with one win in Brecon, Radnor and Cwm Tawe.
Conservatives lost all 12 seats & were wiped out.

IMHO Kiwis are far quicker on the uptake. The inconsistencies & outright lies Aotearoa's current coalition used to sucker a quarter of the voter in the last election & rapid adoption of Liz Truss style policy is leading to an inevitable collapse. Last election NZ Labour won a majority.

Seeing more and more anti-trans people blaming transgender people for the growing homophobia in the West. No Terfy McTerface, your gay friend isn't being called slurs on the street because of something I've done. It's because people like YOU are enabling the bigots and they are getting bolder.
