The “Long Term Parking” episode of “The Sopranos” is just peak television. It’s an interesting show because at least in my opinion you get the slow burn of 6-7 ho-hum episodes but then there’s one that just blows your socks off. I also recognize I am decades late.

Just have to continue harping on the fact that it’s an administration with folks appointed to a lot of important positions. It’s either the feeble old man who will keep people with brains in their heads or an army of Stephen Millers and Steve Bannons which would truly spell the end.

yes, we boiled the planet, but it was worth it to make a machine that, instead of adding two plus two, takes the statistical average of every answer to questions containing "what" "is" "two" and "plus" from a database of illegal cell phone transcripts and returns a fake nude pic of a high schooler

At the end of the day, we are all Americans. Sure, we have differences on policy. One side wants to give everyone healthcare and good wages. The other wants to create a white Christian ethnostate where the president can legally assassinate anyone at will. But we are not enemies.

Google’s emissions are up 48% in 5 years. Microsoft’s are up 30% since 2020. Those soaring figures are being driven by mass investments in data centers to power AI tools. Generative AI is a climate disaster and data center expansion must be stopped.

So to recap, AI is so taxing by energy consumption that Google is now saying they will miss their climate promises, it makes no money, consumers don’t want it, and it spits back utter jibberish and wrong answers to basic queries already answered by human-created content and guides. The future!
