More meat to the story: Delgadoโ€™s saying Kasowitz funneled TFG campaign ๐Ÿ’ต to other women making discrimination claims. His firm got $4.5 mil from the campaign in the 2 mos after 2020 election. FEC records: campaign gave 3 big payouts to Kasowitz: $600k on 1/2020, $1 mil 12/2020, $2.5 mil 1/2021. โ˜œ๏ธŽ๐Ÿ‘€

Politics is like riding a bus. You catch a bus that takes you close to where you want, then you switch busses for one that gets you closer. If you don't hop on the Biden bus youโ€™ll get pushed onto the Trump bus going 90 mph in the opposite direction and heading for a cliff.

Trump's supporters pre-Jan 6 spent months sharing blueprints for guillotines and gallows, planning chemical weapons attacks on the tunnels beneath the white house, and discussing the most painful ways to kill Pence, Pelosi, and Schiff. Trump egged them on. I personally don't want round 2.

i think akhil amar reed captures something very important, which is that the roberts court rewrote article ii, which explicitly states that a president can be held criminally liable after impeachment (and which has long been understood to mean that he can be held liable after leaving office)

One thing I think people forget is how relentlessly *stupid* every day of the Trump administration was. He doesnโ€™t need to do a big elaborate complicated conspiracy, he can just (e.g.) email a list of every U.S. agent in the field to Putin and say itโ€™s to own the libs, and *that* will have immunity.
