No one was locked in their house for months and the mandates were lawful jfc and ‘locked out of the country’ sucked for a lot of people but it was a necessary quarantine and most people understood and supported it - democratically even. This guy is a sack of lies and greed.

Lost 2 family members in England to it, and know other English people over here who lost more than that. One person with Covid caused 3 deaths over here after a wedding. No or late lockdown and Covid would have ripped through the population.

In comparison to other countries New Zealand overall lockdown was significantly less stringent.
In 2020 & 2021 we had significant periods at a lower level of lockdown & only 26 COVID-19 deaths from the start of 2020 till the end of 2021.

Irony of ironies...Mr Seymour and/or his family are probably alive because of the last govt's decisive actions. Meanwhile,covid death toll comparison: Sweden: 27,354 (Worldometer) Aotearoa: 5,857 (MoH) Sweden's population is only twice ours.
