Trump just said in the debate that Biden is so soft on the Palestinians that Joe is a Palestinian. Trump couldn’t be more clear that he’s with the most extreme war-mongering Israelis.

The pres election doesn’t happen in a vacuum. I don’t see trump winning without republicans winning both the house and senate. The new senate majority leader will end the filibuster, and together they will all end aid to ukraine and increase aid to Israel, so a vote for trump is for MORE genocide

False equivalency, imo. If I don't vote for a war criminal, I'm standing by my morals in a legal way. If I don't pay taxes, I'm losing my job and potentially going to prison. I'm obligated to pay taxes, while voting for a candidate is a free choice. And I don't make that choice lightly.

I bluntly see it as the people who say a 6 week fetus is the same as a born human theoretically, but when something happens... It's rhetorical bombast. They can't say Biden is bad on Palestine, but Trump is worse, so Biden is the better of two bad options on the topic because it's not B&W.

As a Palestinian American I thank you for pointing this out. It is pretty fucking obvious that people SHOULD abide by their principles. If they really oppose the genocide they should ACTUALLY do something to oppose it. They need to stop using words and take action.

I personally hate HATE that my tax moneys are facilitating the war crimes in Gaza, that such a large % funds the national-security economy. I feel as if we have all been compromised morally to some extent. There is a clarity to your post, & I don’t like it, but it’s the moral compromise I dislike.

Voting for Trump directly or by not voting Biden means the individual is vested in accelerated genocide. They have zero practical concern for Pal. If they want reduced arms sales, it comes from voting Biden AND increasing Dem/Prog # in House Senate to bolster pull back from a NATO ally w/ agreements

My thinking is that, believing a GOP administration would do anything to stop the murder of Muslims is just wildly detached from reality. At absolute best you'd be trading Ukrainian lives for Palestinian. More likely would be the accelerated destruction of both.
