I just read an article that said "Why is it taking so long for your favorite movies and tv series to air? Blame the writers and actor strikes"
No I won't. I'm blaming that ✨single✨ motherfucker at the studio who makes $250 million dollars a year who's one job is supposed to make this shit happen.

Agreed. The mainstream just plain refuses to acknowledge a huge amount of groundwork that progressive activists do, both in advancing good legislation and in getting out the vote. The left is constantly being judged by some annoying online people rather than the folks doing the work in real life.

It isn't about "defending Biden' - it's about understanding that pushing your current POTUS nominee off the ballot, going through a divisive process of selecting new candidate, getting that person on all ballots, and persuading low-info voters to embrace new nominee in 4 months is suicidal.

Did you know Alan Dershowitz has an honorary stone on the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Celebrity Path?
One New Yorker recently stumbled upon his stone—and decided to do something about it.

Oh God, our family barf bowl doubled as the Saturday night popcorn bowl.
As an adult with my own bowls, anything that gets thrown up in goes straight into the trash.

I left messages with a bunch of my electeds and NY leaders today telling them to stop this nonsense. Sent emails a few days ago too. I'm sure they're all hearing from constituents.

Just left a round of phone messages for my electeds asking them to get their people in order and stop acting like inept clowns with all the leaks, gossip, and hysteria four effing months before the election because some op-eds made them nervous. Some message discipline, please!

Figures, that's pretty much how the US outlets cover those dynamics here at home.

Why do we need op-eds asking Trump to step down?
Imagine a person not into politics, an undecided, scrolling the last few days and occasionally seeing articles about Biden stepping down. But none about Trump. They're gonna think, 'Hunh, Biden must've done something really bad.' That's a problem.

Obviously, we've already known since last year, but Haaretz has confirmed earlier reporting by Electronic Intifada on Israel's use of the Hannibal Directive.
This admission deals a heavy blow to American and Israeli propaganda. 🔻🇵🇸

bad luck for biden to run in an electoral cycle where "are you old" is the most important issue instead of in one of the cycles where email security procedures or accuracy of vietnam war medal citations was the most important issue in the country.

Just an aside: I saw a bunch of NYPD guys coming out of unmarked cars arresting someone the other day, and they were dressed almost exactly like that.

Yes, it's wild. I've heard people who wouldn't even trouble themselves to attend a rally here in the U.S. criticize Palestinians for not just fighting to stop Hamas terrorists.

This really is one of the dumber things these guys have done (thank goodness). Not sure why they would have advertised their evil manual so broadly and given it a short, memorable, sinister title.

Yes, totally. And I could almost understand it if the target voters were MAGAs, who are obsessed with the appearance of strength (or their version of it). But it's the undecided votes we're after, and their votes will likely be based on a range of factors, including a preexisting distaste for Trump.
