I grew up right nearby that Wetson's. I remember eating there as a kid. It is now a McDonalds. I remember it was a big deal when the McDonalds opened -- kids slept outside to be the first inside.

One of the more eye opening things I ever read was an article in Wirecutter, reviewing vacuums, that casually mentioned the number of hairs a cat sheds per day. I can't remember the exact figure, but it was in the thousands. Which made me realize I need to vacuum way, way more often.

Recently discovered that Princeton has a number of funded MA and MS programs (cover at least full tuition + some need-based stipends). At most places only PhD students have anything close to an expectation of funding. Are there other universities with funded Master's degrees?

AI customer service vs. human customer service (alas): 1) Try to chat with their AI, but it doesn't understand what you mean & gives you rote answers 2) Finally get a human via phone, but they also don't understand what you mean & only give you rote answers. 3) Give up.

It is really up to the scholar to determine the parameters of their research. So it can really cover anything. And I'll note that several of the funded projects we just announced focus on environmental impacts of tech.
